100th Post Give Away!

Well I’ve reached my 100th post.. in such a short time too! I think it was May 30th that I made my first post…

Well to celebrate this big triple digit number I’m going to do a give away!

Now, we all know I’m a bit of a Terminator addict, so the give away is related to that, here’s what I’m giving one lucky person:

It’s a MkIII Prototype Terminator Armour from the Rogue Trader era, see THIS LINK for a picture. These are quite rare and collectable and can go for anything between £6 and £20. One of three prototype terminators.

This was the only picture I could find of one painted whilst writing the post:

The lucky person will also receive a “Crux Terminatus” symbol, these were available from Forgeworld, I actually thought they still were but I can’t seem to find them anywhere, there’s a 25mm base next to it for size reference.

So here we have two lovely prizes which are both terminator related!
All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning is leave a comment on this post, I’ll randomly decide a name from the posts and that person shall receive the prizes! Easy! I shall choose the winner after SEVEN days of posting this.

    Did a quick scan of Forge World, couldn't find it.
    I doubt they still cast it if it isn't in the symbols section.

    Anyway, I've no interest in these prizes, so ignore me 🙂
    I mean, it'd be kinda cool, but I wouldn't know what to do with them, or how to sell them.
    In my opinion, give things to those who want them, not those who don't.

    Wow, that termie is extremely old school! As for the Crux, if it were still available i would definitely buy one! Would you know what they were used for in the first place?

    First off Congratulations on reaching 100 posts, it's an incredible show of determination.

    Secondly, Thank you. Every day I look forward to reading your blog, and without fail you always seem to deliver. I really enjoy your painting style, and very much appreciate the tutorial you posted on Bolter and Chainsword, and while I would not copy it, it gives me some ideas on how to improve my painting.

    As a fellow terminator lover who finds himself drawn more and more toward a Deathwing army every day, I look forward to seeing your Techmarine terminator finished soon.

    I would love to see that termy in person cos i aint been around long enough to even see one so to actually have would just be… *drools madly*
    And that terminator crux is massive!

    NIce, i love the older style models, the origional necrons were great and this is a nice one too. its a shame forgeworld cut down its stock.

    Thank you! Love reading your posts and seeing your terminator conversions. Also cool to see all the classic Rogue Trader era terminators. My first terminators were from a little after that era with the Blood Angels metal terminator box with the entire squad plus librarian and captain with the sword on his belt and grenade launcher on his powerfist.

    Old collectors models, like that Terminator, could be used to make your own museum of discontinued Warhammer miniatures! That termie could be used in the new Space Hulk that comes out on September 5th – which is my birthday!
