40K: Daemons Campaign List (And Pics!)
Recently I’ve been discussing my 500pt Necron lists. I could not decide on a list, and with the campaign being postponed a week that made me change my mind more!
This morning I decided on a radical change; Daemons!
The first list I wrote went with two fluffy squads of 9 Horrors, 3 screamers and a herald on chariot (remember no Elites or Heavy in first list). I felt this lacked any punch and had nothing big and scary; so I settled on this list:
500 Pts – Chaos Daemons Roster
Total Roster Cost: 500
HQ: Lord of Change (1#, 310 pts)
1 Lord of Change, 310 pts = + Boon of Mutation + Breath of ChaosTroops: Pink Horrors of Tzeentch (5#, 95 pts)
5 Pink Horrors of Tzeentch, 95 pts = + Bolt of Tzeentch x1Troops: Pink Horrors of Tzeentch (5#, 95 pts)
5 Pink Horrors of Tzeentch, 95 pts = + Bolt of Tzeentch x1 10
Complete change around, and the first time I’m not using units of 9 Horrors.. eek!
Will the Chaos Gods smile upon me for spending 310pts on my HQ? He is pretty tough.. T6, 3+ invuln, 4 wounds, and a bucket load of powers I’ll probably never use!
The idea behind the list will be the “Rise of Fateweaver”, where Fateweaver has to prove himself to gain favour from Tzeentch, so this represents him in his earlier stages before he could tell the future. In the campaign we put ourselves into a “sector”, the winner of the sector gets bonuses to their list (along with an altered force chart), depending which sector you’re in you get different bonuses. One of the rewards is you get to use a special character in your 1000pt list, so if I win that sector then Fateweaver will become powerful and I will get to use his rules, if I don’t win, then I haven’t pleased Tzeentch!
I think the list will provide me with some very tough challenges, like surviving. My troops are very squishy!
TO sum this up here are some bad pictures of my Lord of Change (The finecast kit comes with two heads!)

I’ll report later how my initial games went!
