Out of the £634.74 I raised from selling old models this week, paypal take £26.62 of that.
3.4%+ 20p for each transaction, or 3.9%+20p if the money is from outside of your country (Uk for me)

ebay then take 10% from the final selling value. I’m tricksy and manage to avoid all insertion fees (start at 0.99p and paste the img codes into the HTML description box instead of uploading multiple photos). They don’t take the postage costs into account here, which is a good thing.
So they take £54.74!

Meaning I have to pay the ebay/paypal company of evil £81.36 overall.

Which I deem absolutely horrendous for the service they supply. They must make an absolute fortune!

So the way the new hobby fund will be built up is through buying, painting and then selling miniatures on ebay, this I can do at my leisure, put the money on my special paypal card and only spend what’s on it!

So at the moment the hobby fund stands at £0, so when I purchase a model it’ll be in the negative, but I can hopefully put it into the positive again.

The Daemon Prince I painted went for £63 in the end, so a profit of around £43! I sold a few other bits and pieces, raising money for rent and my NEW SANGUINARY GUARD ARMY! (More on that later!)

For now I need to get my commissions finished, I hurt my back last week and it’s been too uncomfortable to paint since, it feels a bit better now.. so painting should resume shortly.
