Blood Angels Sanguinary Guard
Below is my Blood Angels Sanguinary Guard force which I painted upon the Blood Angels Codex release, they were used in the Open War Tournament where they won Best Painted Army. Unfortunately the gaming side didn’t go so well… after successfully winning every practice game the army decided to completely fail at everything during the event!
The Blood Angels Sanguinary Guard army was painted using the old Citadel washes over a grey undercoat. A lot a Sepia was used which caused the case they were stored in the smell pretty awful! Weathering powders were then used to blend the parts together and add a dusty look to the models.
The display stand was simply a cork noticeboard with a lot of Vallejo White Pumice textured paint applied which was then painted to match.
