In record time for me!

Bought him yesterday, built him at GW, based and primed him.
Started at around 6pm til about 8, then finished it off today from around half 9am is now 14.44!

Need to take some better images, as I plan to sell him on ebay and hopefully raise some cash.

Necrons: They’ve Still Got It.

Took my Necrons to my local GW yesterday!

Played Darklighters Blood Angels, I’ve had extreme difficulty beating this list as of late, my marines struggle against it and all games are very bloody.

Mission was Home and Away, with Pitched battle set up, I deployed in a castle formation in the corner behind a large solid building, Darklighter decided to deepstrike his two assault squads and outflank his single Baal whilst his tow vindies, mephiston and tactical squad set up on his board edge.
The monolith managed to completely destroy his vindicator that Mephiston had hidden behind (who I’d completely forgotten about!) revealing him to the rest of my army. LOTS of shots later and I had taken two wounds off him, thank god for the high strength gauss weapons on the destroyers!
He Failed to get Wings off on meph, meaning he was stood in front of my army for another turn. His other Vindi managed to immobilize my Monolith, which was in an ok position for now.
I shot at Meph again, taking off two more wounds, but failing to take the last with the monolith and 2 heavy destroyers!
His assault squads came down, and parked themselves in front and behind my army, and his ball showed up next to my army too!
Mehiston managed to get into assault with my Immortals, who died horribly.
I blasted the back assault squad with the monolith, killing all but two, I also shot down mephiston finally.
His assault squad jumped into my destroyers, whilst the reduced assault squad went into my lord and destroyers, being joined by the sang priest. The lord happily chopped them up before the fist could strike. The other destroyers managed to hold off the assault marines for a good few rounds of combat!
My warriors came on from reserve at some point, and shook his vindicator that was slowly creeping its way forward, whilst my other warrior squad succeeded in stunning the baal for two turns in a row, and blowing off most of its guns!

The destroyers with the lord ended up getting Demoliser cannoned, leaving the lord on his own, who then sped up to the tactical squad for a last turn risk. The Monolith blasted the tactical squad, the three members it could hit with its large blast all failed cover saves, and then the unit ran off!
Then the game ended! Meaning the Necrons had successfully beaten off the BA assault.
Hurrah!

Decided to try the fluorescent green over white, the picture isn’t brilliant but you can definitely tell the difference!

Taking the ‘Crons to GW tomorrow, probably get slaughtered by Mephiston!
